My Approach
I believe that everyone has within them the capacity to grow and move forward - but sometimes, due to adverse life experiences, people can become stalled or lost and their confidence and self worth can be affected.
Therapy is about providing the right conditions to enable a rediscovery of our sense of self so that we can find our own path again.
I am person-centred in my core beliefs, but I may draw on aspects of other theories when appropriate - such as transactional analysis, gestalt and attachment - to support the work we do together.

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”
Carl Rogers
